It all started with the fall of the god of the gods, En, the Great Hunter. En was a peaceful and loving god, and treated the other gods like brothers and sisters. But he would not let his ultimate power over the gods go, for fear that his siblings will use it for evil.
A civil war erupted in the heavens, with the 8 other gods, En's siblings, all siding against him, in hopes that they can wrestle his ultimate power from his being. Many mortal races, such as Humanity, the dragons, the Delphi, and many others, sided with En, supporting him in the battle against his fellow gods.
The Centaurs on the other hand, supported the 8 gods, out of jealousy that humanity received special preference from En.
For 500 years the war raged on. There was no progress by either side...until the Shattering happened.
Every 1000 years, the planet collapsed on itself, shattering the world and pushing the land down into the core, creating a new, but devastated, land beneath the original. The gods took advantage of this distraction, mortally wounding En with his own handmade magical sword. En fell to the surface, his life draining from him. To preserve himself, he commanded the stone to swallow him up, and he was never seen again.
The gods, now victorious, moved to stop the Shattering, using all their power to hold up the land in the sky. Not much of it survived, but for those pieces that did, they were given to loyal supporters of all races, while those who served En were sent to the new world below, where the Centaurs would rule them for thousands of years, killing off more people than the number that died in the previous war.
The gods, coming to their senses, realized what they had done. But they were powerless to stop the Centaur's genocidal campaign. Their ultimate power of intervention still lied with En, trapped in his being inside the planet. They could only sit and watch helplessly, attempting to help a select few with whatever powers they had. Overall, though, they were powerless.
A new era is dawning, however. A brilliant group of commanders are rising up in the world, using new technology and weaponry to their advantage, hoping to start a full-scale rebellion against their oppressors.

You are one of these commanders in Region 14. You are gathering up as much forces as you can to fight the Centaurs, but will the lust of power overcome you? Will you lead the rebellion, or will you join the Centaurs and crush it? Will you lead the rebellion through massacre or diplomacy, or will you lead the Centaurs to glory through negotiation or terror? The choice is yours.

It's been a long while since I last posted, due to senior trip and other things coming up, but development of this game is still alive and fresh. Sadly, I must part ways with 3D Gamestudio, as it's scripting system was just a little too buggy for me (It's move functions failed miserably). I'll be using the engine in the future, but not for an RTS game.

I've switched over to the Spring engine, which is much more easier to use and has an active community. I'll have to learn some Lua to program the Turn-based portion, but it'll all work out. I've mapped it out in my head, using the limitations of this new engine, and searched for a couple of workarounds.

So far, development on this engine is successful, and the first tank model had been successfully imported. So it's safe to say that the switch is official, and Spring will now be used.
