Sewer Tea sends you directly on a quest to save mankind from an unknown chemical threat that has originated in an underground laboratory.

Post news Report RSS Assault rifle + new weapons?

Check out how the assault rifle performs against a crowd of multi-sized glowers. Also, take some input in deciding which should be the next weapon added to the game.

Good evening,

Lately I've been struggling a lot to meet the deadlines I set myself. That's why I'll have to slow down a bit, otherwise the development of Sewer Tea will finish sooner than expected (possibly along with my deceased body). I'll try to keep updating on Sundays as I used to do, but some times I will just have to move the news till Monday or even Tuesday.

Here's the video:

glower genocide :D

The muzzle flashes are implemented, but I disabled them for testing purposes, since they're becoming a pain in the neck during my bug-hunting sessions. Right now there's a system that randomly assigns a different muzzle flash from a muzzle-flash pool every time a weapon is shot.

On a totally unrelated subject, I'm setting 1440x768 as the standard resolution for the game. Later I will work on different resolutions so that all GUI elements are nice and well placed according to the user's resolution.

And now,

ONE BIG QUESTION:

What kind of weapon would you like to see implemented next?

a) A cannon that shoots with an insanely slow rate of fire but that blasts through enemies?
b) A micro-uzi that shoots very fast and disperse?

Don't forget to track or leave a comment if you like what you see. Doing so may get you a nice humblebundle (see winner first giveaway and winner second giveaway). Also please consider following me on twitter to be up to date with Sewer Tea's latest development news.

P.S.: I won't keep posting stuff with monsters for a while now, but believe me, that doesn't mean I'm not adding new enemies every week ;)

Best,
Kuznetsowski

Thanks for your input. Right now that's the option I'm more inclined towards!

You sure? For a glower horde like the one on this video, a powerful weapon that blasts through enemies is clearly the option to go. However, what if you were facing a swarm of flying insects that come from above and below in many directions? Probably both will eventually be made, but yeah, let's see what other people say ^^
