ScrumbleShip is the most accurate space combat simulation devised to date. Gather resources, construct a capital ship out of individual blocks, then pilot it with AI or human help against other players.
The barracks of the S.S. Blingnought provides laser rifles, space suits, and beds for the weary. On the back wall is a conglomeration of life support machinery that will keep this compartment full of oxygen-rich air, so long as it has power.
Oh, and the pipe on the ceiling will carry oxygen to other parts of the ship. This is not strictly necessary, as each compartment has its own CO2 recycler and oxygenator, but fortune favors the redundant.
That's a fantastic design- I like how the ceiling is in that shape. I never thought of building one big barracks, before I just built seperate quarters. I guess those ships were a lot smaller though. :)
Thanks! The ceiling ended up that shape when Dirkson added slopes to the game. I added them because they're an easy way to add extra thickness to a corner.
This barracks is actually inside, and sort of attached to the ceiling of a larger weapon control room that surrounds it on the left, right, and bottom.
Very awesome design =D
And thank you! But we'll see how awesome it is when Dirkson makes diamond almost completely transparent as he plans! Lasers will be able to go right through diamond then. :P
There go my plans to make a diamond clad warship.
Haha, seriously! Mine too, though I already made one. At least it's not that big. It'll be a fun ship for sightseeing, that's for sure!
