Saints Row 2 (abbreviated to SR2) is a sandbox-style action-adventure video game developed by Volition, Inc. and published by THQ. It is the second title in the Saints Row series. The game follows the unnamed protagonist — referred to as male in this article — who leads a fictional street gang known as the 3rd Street Saints, to whom he followed in Saints Row until he was betrayed and landed in a trauma-induced coma after a staged yacht explosion. After escaping from prison five years later and bringing the Saints to power again, the protagonist takes on the gangs who now control the city Stilwater on a quest to bring it to the Saints' power, who had controlled it in Saints Row. The game is composed of elements from third-person shooters and driving games in open world gameplay. The main game can be played through in single-player or through online co-operative play. The game also contains competitive multiplayer modes.

I played this a lot on Xbox, back when it was only on Console, bought it on PC to find out that it was a buggy console port, Not sure I expected anything better. But the Polish company charged with porting it basically said "We've done what we can, we cant do any more with this game it's just too broken".
The result is Saint's row 2 has extremley fussy graphics options, took me an hour at least to get a stable setup that was both smooth and good looking.
Underrated game.
Best of the Saints Row series.
Amazing sandbox, but is ruined in PC with one of the more awful conversion from consoles. I hoppe than mods put this game like the consoles version, really.

The best Saint's Row game, and one of the best GTA-style games ever made.
It is best this franchise game. It is balanced on real gangster **** and fun. I like Saints Row III and Saints Row IV, but they ruined real gangster game that looked like San Andreas. They ruined story, realism of game and left only fun.
I played this on PC and gotta say it is a very terrible port, played for 20 minutes and after I had to delete this from my Hard Drive, sorry.
Why did i buy this... WHY.
Awful ******* port from PS3/XBOX , bugs,graphic problems, and performances issues.
DON'T BUY THIS GAME FOR PC.
