The game will be a new installment in the Resident Evil series of video games and will be developed by Slant Six Games instead of Capcom. It is set at the same time as Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, but is unrelated to the main series storyline and presents a "what-if" scenario, a non-canon entry in the series.

how do you install this mod ?
Drop the files into the folder with the game's main files, where it's installed (right-click game shortcut > "open file location" > put the mod in there) and then set the graphics tweaks on / off with SHIFT+F12 at any time while in-game.
My game freezes when I try to get to the menu screen.
The game manages to get to the title screen but then I press "space", click "continue" and it freezes.

Works -- makes the visuals 'clearer' (less hazy / lighter).
there is no need.
If you have a A-10 or better you can play maxed out settings.
