This patch, along with your trainer, are a frickin' lifesaver! They enable using vorpX to view the game in Virtual Reality, which is otherwise difficult without being able to increase the FOV above 90° or address the black bars. Thank you!
Just gave this thing a try and it didn't seem to work. My monitor's 1920x1200 and I entered those values in the patcher, but I'm still getting a letterbox display in the game. Any suggestions?
Never mind. Found through PCGamingWiki that I must set the display mode to Borderless Window for this to work. I had been using Full Screen.

Here's updated offsets for the latest January 2021 patch. Either overwrite RE7PatcherUpdate.dat with this (https://gofile.io/d/G4D6qA) or edit it in notepad to look like this.

Hopefully this will be the last for Capcom. Stop putting Adverts for REVIII for this game Capcom. We already know people are going to buy it. Don't have to use in-game REVII for it to work.
It really ruins any remaining fixes and may break some of these old patches.

I contacted Moddb support about it. I can only guess that the false positives got it removed, because it is essentially a simple memory hack for the game.
my pc was detecting it as a virus everyday after I made an excaption in windows anti virus. Today it was doing the same thing as before the last update (could not make an exception at all anymore.)
I deleted the rar file hoping to come back and download the mod fov trainer again hoping it would work and its gone.
a)can you send me the mod somehow?
b)Do you know a work around for windows anti virus and this trainer assuming you get to reupload it/could send it. Appreciate your work with this mod. Have a good day!
I don't suppose you can upload a copy of it somewhere we could download it? I play on 32:9 and I feel like I'm be suffocated when playing the game.
By the way, thanks for all your work on this since it was released in 2017. My first playthrough back then was using your trainer/fixes on my 21:9 and was a god send

I have the FOV Trainer saved, but I'm waiting to see if it gets reuploaded.
If not, then I will upload it to nexusmods with full credits to CivilWolf of course.
I finished the DLC campaign (Chris) using the FOV and it works amazingly well. Same with the other DLC modes like Nightmare/Bedroom etc.
It is a must have for sure!

It seems any .exe edits are considered virus which is stupid.

Been finally approve on Nexus! All credits to CivilWolf. I take no credit and will forever be grateful for these mods! Truly makes the PC version the definitive one for sure! ^^
Also, Make sure to try Fling's trainer as well which got a new update recently with new options (Infinite Scrap, Infinite Oxygen, Max Score etc, since I requested it personally when I became a patreon member to Fling!)
