Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, released in Japan as Biohazard 3: Last Escape is a survival horror video game and the third installment in the Resident Evil series developed and published by Capcom. The game was released for the Sony PlayStation, and was subsequently ported to the Dreamcast, Microsoft Windows and Nintendo GameCube. The game is also available for download on the PlayStation Network for use with both the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Portable. The first half of the game occurs 24 hours prior to Resident Evil 2 and the second half takes place two days after. The storyline expands upon the settings and events of the T-Virus outbreak in Raccoon City, and concludes with the fate of the city and its infected population. The game's storyline was later used as the basis for the 2004 film Resident Evil: Apocalypse.

This game scared me shitless during my young days...Playing it again on emulator really does bring back that atmosphere but not as intense as before...Truely a must play for long time Resident Evil gamers.

good game

The best Resident Evil for me. Mixing the old games with something new made this game awesome. Something similiar to Nemesis was featured in RE2, MR.X.
It was a nice twist, but he was not scary at all. Nemesis though, was. The fact that he could chase you through rooms, use weapons, run, and be extremely durable made him a really frightening enemy.
The special events are cool, and I like the idea of choosing which path to take. It's alot easier to get all endings.
Overall, I give this game 10/10.

One of the best game ever

Outstanding Game! One of The best in the resident evil franchise. Jill Valentine is back and must survive hordes of zombies in Raccoon City. The story is better than Resident Evil 2, there are challenges to complete while exploring the city, there is a new Boss: the Nemesis, who chases you everywhere. A real nightmare!

A fantastic send-off to a beloved series before it abandoned its Survival Horror roots and plunged into run and gun territory and, sadly, into sheer mediocrity. RE3 was one of those rare instances where a third entry turned out to be amazing (for me, it was actually better than RE2). Shame the remake was such a colossal disappointment.

Compared with RE2 is a little step backwards, is a easy game if you know than make, NEMESIS is the only real treat because can open doors and run.
But.... is impresive the replay value in comparasion with the previous game, MERCENARIES is a great adition, the idea of change certain paths for your actions is a great idea (than never appears again in a RE game), this game make much for be in a SINGLE CD (PSX original released of course), all is more versatyle like up for the stairs only walking or running instead press a button. Playing in PC now with the amazing mods is a prove than this a favorite RE of the classic era, appart than is amazing.

this is onde of the best games of my entire life!

The only horror thing I remembered clearly about this game is the feeling of fear because of that hellish Nemesis relenlessly chasing you from room to room. The mercenaries mini game mode is fun though.
