Quake always seemed to be in dead last in terms of multiplayer, The multiplayer that Quake and Quake II offered was alright but it never matched other games.

Quake III:Arena is a huge change from the first two game, Here it's mostly dedicated to Multiplayer either online or offline against A.I. bots who can range from catatonic to murderously aggressive in terms of difficulty.

The game has age but this team based shooter along with capture the flag and free for all will keep your busy.
