A tool to generate non-triangulated circular brush shapes for the Half-Life and Quake map format. It can also be exported as OBJ file. Shapes are at the moment: Cylinder, Arch, Torus, hollow Torus and Sphere. It works by using a command console or simple text-based template files (*.pst).
Plan Shape is my first real C++ creation. It serves as a generator for 3-dimensional shapes like an arch, a torus or a sphere. To do so, it uses circles, which are based on a specific mapping method. This will lead to the amazing fact, that all faces of those circular shapes are planar. PlanShape can export these generated shapes as MAP or OBJ files.
Plan-Shape is NOT a professional tool, there is NO GUI and it wasn't testet on any other system than mine yet! I basically learned C++ by creating this tool. You can use it via the command console or you drag and drop template files onto the EXE. Both will produce the same results. Template files are a faster way, whereas using the console might be easier (or even more confusing, depends).
