Four years after the events of Pikmin 2, The President of the Hocatate Freight Co. has spent billions and billions to create a new device that will shrink anything, no matter how massive, to an extremely small size. To do this, sadly, The President built up a massive debt, and the deadline for repayment is closer than expected. Olimar and Louie are then called to return to PNF-404 to find more treasures from the planet, and to repay the debt once again. When the group arrives at PNF-404's orbit, a strange magnetic feild pulls the Hocatate Ship into the atmosphere at an alarmingly fast rate, and peices of Olimar and Louies suit are scattered throughout the planet. Unable to leave the planets orbit due to the magnetic feild, Olimar and Louie set out on their biggest, yet pocket-sized adventure yet! This has to be like my seventh grass made.
Anyways, I looked over my previous grass texture and thought it was a bit unrealistic. Maybe its me. So I decided to make a new grass texture with a more simplistic style into it. But now I'm at a stop. I can't choose.
I do know the benefits for both grasses.
Grass (left): Has more complexity to it and can be useful for certain terran.
Grass (right): its simplicity can allow us to add map objects like trees and plants with out it looking out of place.
You guys help me decide.
I got the concept of the grass on the right from Wayofthepixel.net
No I didnt cut off a section and copy it. I merely copied the style of grass since i liked this one the most
you could use the grass on the left for a wall texture or for a floor texture in jungle areas. I would say the grass texture on the right side would be the ideal floor texture.
