Prominence Prologue
Each week, a new chapter from the game's back story will be posted on the official Prominence site. These episodic tales are standalone vignettes that offer insight into Letarri culture and technology, characters from the game, details about the colonization mission, and more.
After all the chapters have been released, players will have a back story compendium to accompany the adventure. You can immerse yourself in the world of the Letarri before you even set foot in the game. And since the content is all back story, there are no spoilers. :)
New Prominence Website
We wanted the new Prologue pages to be cool, but we got a little carried away and next thing we knew we had redesigned the entire website in responsive HTML5. After all, what's the point in offering up free stories if they're going to look ugly or unreadable on tablets and smartphones?
The new site features our gameplay/preview video and tons of details right on the home page, plus dedicated pages for the new Prominence Prologue along with our Behind the Scenes content. (If you haven't already seen it, there's an old Story Dev Chat there which makes a nice companion to the new Prologue.)
Beta Update
Our final group of intrepid crewmembers (a.k.a. testers) have gathered and preparations are nearly complete for the final beta test.
It's an exciting and nervous thrill to know that after years of hard work, completion and release are just around the bend!
