Project Zomboid is an open-ended zombie-infested sandbox. It asks one simple question – how will you die? Whether surviving in Knox County free-roam or controlling Indie Stone mascot Baldspot in his quest to save his injured wife Kate – death is always a certainty. Quite how long you manage to put it off is another matter…

Now I cant even get error messages as the game appears, from desura, to be "Not Ready". All attempts, the three offered, fail with epic misery.

All of them result in some error dialog in text so small I cant read but something about "MCF" !?!?!! wtf that is...

The the dialog, along with desura's client, promptly explodes and dies entirely on my system.

Now Im sure sure the first finger waving is going to go at desura but you would be a moron to do so. Why? Because the game was busted prior to this and ********>ALL OTHER GAMES VIA DESURA WORK FOR ME <*********.

Anyhow, not only have I not gotten further getting this thing to run but now even the "three recoveries" via desura not only dont work but crash the desura client.

Brilliant.

Hope my 14.99 bought some good alcohol or something because it didnt do shit for me but cause some massive greif and rage quitting "strace -f" nerd morgue. Ever tried to fucking strace a java program, holy WTF(tm) POS... fsck java.

Assuming you're on Windows . . .

Go to &#xPr;ogramFiles%\Desura\ and find the ProjectZomboid installation directory (it's been a while since I've used Desura, so bare with me) and run the bat directly from there. If it just closes, open it in NotePad and add PAUSE to its own line at the end of the bat file. Any errors should be present.

Really do recommend you to to your Collection and get the Steam key, though. There's been quite a few updates.

Its linux.

Really do recommend if someone puts a game on a service they recommend supporting that service or leave it.
