It has been quite a journey for our team but we are proud we have made it this far!
I remember when we started working on this project several months ago and after setting the milestones, we saw the day when we had the final models for our protagonists far away (at least I did).
But I am glad life has proven me wrong once again and more specifically, Kyle Fernando (Co-founder and Creative Director of Dead Cell Games). Thanks to his incredible skills, designing, modelling, texturing, deleting and starting all over again, we are closer than ever to start producing our first demo of the Game!
That's right! Having these 3D models ready, we are embarking on the next stage of development which consists on setting them up in the engine and applying animations and interactions. We have performed successful tests using proxies while the characters were being developed and I'm not going to lie, we have had some exciting moments working with the engine as well as frustrating ones, but hey, everything is part of the joy of bringing to you a new experience in video games!
So, without further ado, I present to you the 3D models of our protagonists: Vance Velemund and Maya Magaros. Enjoy!

Thanks for the feedback, it is a great motivator for all of us on the team.
Nice work!! Although I personally prefer Maya's design of the project page (blue shirt, pouch, pants and boots) :)
Don't worry eventually we will make the alternate costume for Maya. Stay tuned!
These are fantastic!
These look awesome! Really reminds me of the TimeSplitter series. Will definitely have to watch this game!
Ha! Thanks, although none of us have really played the Time Splitter Series, we are definitely gonna have to check it out.
