For those who haven't heard of visual novels yet, they're basically virtual story books with art, music and multiple endings. The genre probably resembles point- and-click games the most, though its origins are different. While Project Dualis and many other Visual Novels are definitely anime-inspired, it should still be possible to enjoy the story without any 'extensive knowledge'
