So are you aiming to add pokemon from every gen or just from the first one, because personally my favourite pokemon are Chimchar, Togekiss, Glaceon, Ambipom, Deerling and Celebi. I really dont mind what you do, just wanted to know. Cant wait to play even more now
First two Generations.
what about evolutions from the first to gens that came in later gens, Togekiss, Glaceon, Ambipom are all technically evolved forms of old pokemon.

We'll be dealing strictly with the first 251 pokemon, at least for now. We've discussed the possibility of going to gen 3 if things work out properly, but anything from gen 4 onwards isn't going to happen.
Why ? I thought "Generations" stood for , like , ALL generations.
With all due respect to gen 1-3 , there are A LOT of awesome gen 4-5 Pokemon that shouldn't be left out.

It's not about generational superiority, it's about the fact that what we're doing is already a big undertaking, and it's going to take a long time just with two generations to get where we want. Also, motivation is a factor. These are the generations we cherish the most, so naturally, we'll have more motivation to do these.
If we added every new pokemon and move from every new generation, we'd never be finished, and we have lives too :)
So no, just Generations 1 and 2. Perhaps 3, but only if things go properly :)
So basically it doesn't mean you'll DEFINITELY won't do the other gens , you just have priorities and depending on the game's popularity and reception you'll think of doing the other gens as well ?
Perhaps gen 3 :) I can't see generations four and onward ever making it in. I mean, that's pretty much the long and short of it. I wouldn't hold out any form of hope for it.

when you finish the game and are done updating it, will you allow people to make mods on it like, with pokemon 3d you can add texture packs? it would be nice to have gen 4-6 mods that people can make
Well let's see how this wil lend. This game looks soo much epic i can't even describe. If it ends like a massive blockbuster like Minecraft (which is very possible considering the massive fanbase) i would certanly pay for more.
i just wonder in this game pokemon that need to trade to evolve will they need to still be traded

I expect you will have to trade a haunter to get or will there be wild ones like the show and comic?
trade evolutions won't be in it. they have something special in store for pokemon that were supposed to evolve by trading but the devs haven't said anything more about that except for that it will be more challenging.
