You play has Private Strong (aka Newbie) who was transferred from the National Guard to the 101st American Rangers after they lost their close friend Private Perez. Your transporter is shot down from a misfire caused by the Voice of the People (an underground movement started when the NVA declared their rule). Behind enemy lines, you must traverse the thick and uncharted Jungle of Vector C3 to reach your temporary home base at Point Zulu.

Features:
Branching Storyline. On key moments you will have to make choices that will alter your relationship with the squad.

Vast array of weapons, ranging from manufactured lead/laser weapons, to homemade rebel guns.

Plenty of action. You'll be fighting not only the NVA (North Vietnamese Army) but also many different alien natives that inhabit the planet.

Destructible Environment. A wall blocking your way? Don't want the enemy climbing the stairs? Think an enemy is nestled on the floor above? Then shoot down that wall, destroy those stairs, and shoot out the ceiling so you can join the party.

Genuine feel. Feel like you are actually trying to survive in an uncharted world full of enemies.

Compelling Story. Get attached with the characters and get lost in the story.

Great graphics on a great engine. This game is being created on the Unreal Engine 3, one of the best, and we will not settle for okay graphics.

HE TALKS! No more silent hero, in this game, your character actually has something to say.

A long, long time

News

It has been over a year since our last update, and I, Ian Andrew Moats, Project Leader, apologize for this. We have completed 6 levels and many staff changes have been made (we cut ties with all other members and are now down to two). Development has been slow, really slow. We have not recorded any audio and are currently working on weapon and character models. We are also gathering marketing assets (screen shots, demo, etc.). Our next update will be in 2 1/2 years, yes I said YEARS. Sites like this one are distracting to a developer, and we are trying to avoid them at all cost. We are working on a game proposal document to present to a publisher so we will have sufficient funding (wish us luck). This game is NOT dead, it is still very much alive. We are creating it as we are learning in school (we both go to IADT Online) and so far things are looking bright. Thank you for the support and we promise to deliver a worthwhile gaming experience. We set a release date for 2015 so if the world doesn't end next year (haha just joking) then keep an eye out for our new website (launch for site should be on 2013).

P.S. to all those who think this game is taking too long and would be better off dead, think about Too Human. It was suppose to release on the PS1, at least we aren't taking that long!

So I know it has been a long, long time since I have posted an update and I'm sorry for this. We have completed a total of 6 levels and are working on gathering some marketing assets (screen shots, demo, etc.). I posted this game at the very beginning of development to show you all just how long it takes to create a game (especially with only two people). We are focusing purely on development and are not worrying too much about sites and promotion (we are still on the early stages). Our next update will be scheduled for 2 1/2 years. That may seem long, but by that time we will have a proper demo, our own website, plenty of screen shots, and much more available to the public. Other factors are in the way as well. School and being a father has not given me the time I need, and my associate is busy with work and a project of his own. I thank you for the support and I assure you the game is in development. Hang in there.

Hey everyone, Point Zulu will no longer be free. I will be purchasing the Royalty License on Thursday and will set a price when the demo is released. That means that all IAMentertainment team members will be compensated for their time. This is how the pay structure is currently:

Team members will be paid a one time fee at the 1st quarter of the year that the game is released.

3D Modelers/Animator/Programmers receive $500
Voice Actors/Testers receive $100
Concept Artist/Composers receive $200

Positions we have open:
3D Modeler
Animator
Programmer
Concept Artist

send an email to IAM7890@hotmail.com with history references, and a sample of your work if you wish to apply.

It doesn't look like you have much done except for speed tree assets, which aren't exactly difficult to do.

Don't you think you should at least wait until you have something solid to show off?
