PixelJunk Eden is an exploratory platformer well worth playing for those who like their grinding to have tangible results. Enemies turn into what amount to keys. Doors are plants you get to watch grow. If you can find a space then you can work to change it.

Bonus points go to the developers for adding optional gamepad controls back after fan outcry.

Negatives include a timer which is sometimes made even more frustrating by the absence of maps. The latter pulls double duty on the hub world where figuring out how to navigate between gardens can sometimes be a pain.

Probably one of the most beautiful games I've played in awhile. The colours, sounds, and music all in unison to make the game-play come to life. This is an amazing game and I recommend this for anyone.
