My name is Kristian and I’m about to release a new mini-golf (or “putt-putt”) game for iPad named PixelGolf - its graphic style is influenced by golf games of the 80’s and 90’s but the controls, physics and functionality are quite modern. The main goal is to simply get the lowest score through 18 holes, guiding your golfball past obstacles using the skill-based putting system. Aim your shot, drag the putter back and then slide it into the on-screen golfball - the faster you hit the ball the harder the putt will be. The game is based on a few core principles: simplicity, audio/visual beauty and playing with others. To this end we’ve created two multiplayer modes - one is local and has the players passing the iPad around to take their turn. The other multiplayer mode is online through Game Center where you can challenge up to three friends - at the end of the match the scores are uploaded to the PixelGolf leaderboard.
