Overgrowth takes place in the savage world of Lugaru where rabbits, wolves and other animals are forced to use paws, claws and medieval weaponry to engage each other in battle. Combining 3rd person adventure platforming with intricate melee combat, Overgrowth achieves a unique feel. Overgrowth also benefits from Wolfire's brand new Phoenix Engine which has been built from the ground up to allow the use of cutting edge graphics, animation, and physics. Add to these exciting features Overgrowth’s realistic artificial intelligence and streamlined control system and the result is an astoundingly immersive experience.

I was wondering if you guys were going to implement any type of indirect lighting to soften up the shadows on the terrain?

We do have ambient occlusion (not shown in the video) and you can modify the style of lighting by changing the size of the sun. There will probably be more stuff too!

I was thinking more in leu with the way light works in Mirror's Edge. Where light bounces off the surface of an object and reflects the color of the surface wherever the bounced light was directed off of.

doesn't it crash anymore? Whenever I made an animation it crashed and drove me insane. It's been some builds ago, so lot of problems with the ingame animation editor are probably smoothed out.

The rigger crashes if you attach the bones whilst a bone/joint is selected. Be sure to deselect them before attaching them to the mesh.
