The fight for survival is on! OverDose is a class, team & objective based multiplayer game set on a post-apocalyptic Earth. With gameplay in the tradition of classic games such as Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Enemy Territory, melded with up to date gameplay mechanics and movement, OverDose is a unique blend of online action, team play and of course, lots of gore. Using id tech 2 as a base, OverDose features updated engine features like full real time lighting and shadow mapping, physically based rendering, particle and physics simulations and more. Plus, in classic id Software tradition, our engine and game are fully moddable and scriptable, meaning even amateur mod makers can bring their own creations to life with ease. This isn't war... It's an all out apocalypse!

The kneeplate clips through the ground. But nice animations anyway.

Name me a game that doesn't have clipping in some form, and I'll get it fixed.

No game on the planet has zero clipping, trust me on this. And for a rig/animation set that works on all our player classes, made by a single person, for free, for an indie team that doesn't get paid and does this in its spare time no less, I think its good enough.

People are MORE than welcome to step up and do a better job if they think they can, I'm sure Ben wouldn't mind at all people sharing the work load :)

On skin and such, small clipping may be realisitic in some cases because try yourself to touch something and it wont be static, your skin/cloth will move agianst.

Doubles? There may be a few hick ups with frames being odd, I dunno if thats what you mean? But the same anims never played in this one twice if thats what you mean. The animation set in this video contain:

Walk Forward
Walk Backward
Walk Left
Walk Right
Crouch Forward
Crouch Left
Crouch Right

Description

Rendered in-game, these are a few more I left off the last video that never made the cut. Thanks to Ben for the usual creamy goodness.

Enjoy.
