Description

Nia Davis has woken in a haze to a small cell in an unfamiliar basement. Her captor, an obsessed stalker, has chained her to the floor and is leaving her locked away. Overhearing conversations with her captor’s accomplice, it is obvious she doesn’t have long to live. Play as Nia and escape the basement before it’s too late. However, things aren’t always what they seem. There may be more to your captor than simple obsession...captor’s intentions really are.

History

After working for over 13 years in the video game industry at various AAA studios, I decided it was time to follow my long-term goal of owning my own game studio. That is still on the horizon but the first step was leaving the industry.

Shortly after starting indie work, I co-developed Welcome to the Game II with Relfect Studios and then released my first solo project The Subject (which placed in the indie top 100 here on indie DB)

I have now moved on to another co-development project but began dreaming up a new solo project for myself as well. I wanted to make a game that focused on a small environment. I wanted to challenge myself and see what I can make with less.

I started making the basic framework for the escape room concept and began to carve out a story that I think will be surprising and very different than what people usually experience in escape room style games. I'm very excited to take my experiences in AAA and my indie projects and refine them into better and better projects.
