Organized Crime: 1920s is a multi-player first person shooter harnessing the triple A Unreal 3 game engine.
Join your team, and help bring down your enemy. Choose from 3 player classes, Assault, Shotgun and Heavy Weapons.
You can play as a Federal Agent, or as a Gangster as you fight to bring the other team down using a wide variety of time period weapons.
Powered by the cutting edge Unreal 3 game engine by Epic’s UDK development Environment, Organized Crime: 1920s has the edge to shine in the indie game industry.
Sorry for not posting more screenshots. I am currently working on code, code and more code. So unless you want screenshots of code, which is isn't much fun, I will releasing screenshots of things that are coming together.
Today's post is showing the Ironsight system. Yes, its not perfect yet, but the game code is pretty much code complete, and has been tested and works on a dedicated server. Next step, finalize the placement and force an animation for third person view so you know when your enemy is using Ironsights, but the animation most likely will be an alpha add.
Next up, clean up the base code for bullet weapons, clean up the map, and I think it will be in a pretty good place to start playing this prototype, get feedback and then start on the next round of code.
Anyone want to play? I know I do, so be on the look-out for a prototype sign-up page :)
After months of negativity, not from everyone here, I am officially working on this game project again. We have tossed out our old publisher, which was...
We are looking for a few new team members. As some of you know, our team is tiny, two to be exact.
We are on track with the weapon scripting. I am in the process of re-creating all the weapon code...
UDK has turned out to be a bit more difficult to work with than Source so far, but our tests have looked 100 times better than the Source engine (we'll...

Im waiting
So are we buddy. Going to be a bit.
Can't wait good luck with the project!
Not sure if anyone has noticed yet, but we are now listed under the "games" section. We are now using the UDK engine due to some issues we ran into with the Source SDK.
well im not sure a 30's environment would be easily shown on ut3, doesnt it use lots of hdr and bloom?
but hey good luck with it all the way
Thanks, we'll try. Just because Epic makes all their games incorporate HDR and Bloom doesn't mean anything though. Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 both use HDR and Bloom with Source engine and that's where we started, as you know.
I've noticed that :)
What issues you've ran to with Source SDK?
The gridviews in Hammer were black, for almost two weeks. Some hacks were floating around, but I was tired of waiting for a "real" fix.
There was a recent update. Check it again.
Doesn't matter, we are on our way using the UDK, and I think we will have better results.
