Roll your way through 24 huge levels across six different themes in this colourful, original 3D platformer. Be prepared to take on spikes, mines, dynamite, conveyor belts, springs, switches, doors, bumpers, lasers, saws, fire, ice, water, electricity, trapdoors and much much more. Each level has three areas you must navigate your way through, battling a host of enemies along the way, then a fourth and final area where you must take on one of the six end-of-level bosses! Grab the protective stars as you go and keep an eye out for the many hidden bonuses to help you on your way. On A Roll 3D is a classic platformer that mixes the regular 2D format with a 3D twist as many of the platforms cross in front of each other. There are plenty of puzzles thrown in, with switches, levers and pushable blocks required to open doors and trapdoors, and reach otherwise inaccessible places. On A Roll 3D is an immensely fun and very challenging retro platform game!

Just purchased the game. When I click on the download button under "Purchased Downloads", I get a "404 - File Not Found" message.
What's wrong?
Thanks for purchasing. I can only imagine that part of the Desura site was down or inaccessible to you at that time for some reason. I suggest trying again later, or contacting Desura if it's still not working.
The 404 message is still there. After a day, I would expect any technical issues to be resolved. Why isn't Desura offering the file for download?
I'm still getting the 404 message (which is a host message and has nothing to do with my PC). I've contacted Desura Technical Support, but the only response I've got is the question if the 404 message is still there on Monday.
I seem to misunderstand the meaning of the term "Purchased Downloads". Could someone explain it to me?
Still 404, after all those weeks. Silence from Desura, no apparent (to me) activity.
Don't you bother, or are you trying to frustrate customers?
Drop us an e-mail to info@battenbergsoftware.com and I'll sort you out a temporary download link.
Just to let you all know an update to the game has been released. There are a few bug fixes, but the main difference is that the game can now be run in resolutions less than 1280x720. There is a screen scaling option on the display options menu that allows scaling down to 50%, so will support right down to 640x480.
Hi there, I never bought games from Desura before, are they DRM free and will you be release your game on gog by any chance?
Yes they're DRM free. We don't currently have any more plans to release On A Roll 3D on any other platforms, but it is already on here, Indievania and Shiny Loot. Check out our website for more info!
This one's been on my mind since I saw it last night. I guess it's time to purchase it.
Right off the bat, thanks for binding all controller keys to jump. This is a pet peeve of mine any time developers have a simple game that only requires one button, but they decide which one for you. This feels more like Sonic, where any of the buttons could be used to jump.
You might want to reserve at least one of the buttons for Pause/Menu though, as I didn't notice any way to access it from a controller.
Good suggestion - you're right you can only pause via the keyboard at the moment.
