the only thing wrong that I could see 9and I mean only, the rest was awesome) was the sound used for the footsteps was pretty horrid, sounded like default hl2.
The walk animations for the minigun carrying guys looked particularly bad, like puppets. The player model designs seem so bland and samey, compared to the distinctness of the TF2 player models.
The building deployments were a lot cooler looking than I had expected. I wonder if I would still think so after waiting for them to play out for the 50th time or the 500th.
All the cuts in this video doesn't give me a feel for how it plays either on foot or from top down.

Well the video was like: ok,it was ok...it wont die but it wont live long!
I think that they should re-done some sounds and most of animations...
Also you cant see really how to transfer from strategy mode, so if there is an commander then he should be in BHQ or MHQ and there shouldt be like good pictures,clearly like in fps/tps mode also when you look with satellite.
Also it dosent mean that the picture will be that fine and that you will look like from the sky,you look from the space and if there are clouds then you shouldt see whats happening but you could see throught cameras or trought senzors!
Also when objects are unpacking it dosent look really cool and its an imitation of NS2 unpacking of objects!
The commander HQ system will be a copy if there will be a mobile HQ like in the HL2 mod "Empires"...
I think that repacking should be like a pod and it crashes to the ground or lands but to not to leave impact signature and the pods "shield"/armos will just remove automaticaly from the objects and used for bullets,melted and then limitations of mgs turrets expect if they will use Antimatter...then its ok.

I readed some things now in descriptions...4 classes=BF2142
There should be more classes,if you make classes with posibility to customiza as you want,then there will be serious unbalance and some weapons will probavly not be used !
Also i think that there should be a resource micromanagment so that some supports costs more that there are no mg turrets spamming!
There should be limitations in the way that i will now describe:
If there are equal teams in number...You got 4 to 6 classes!
So the server calculates how many players are on each side so as some players are on the server on each time the more places for some classes are...
So Assault is infinite in number how much players will be.
So if there are more players on that team and it must be equal balance then you can have like more heavy units maybe something like Heavy Gunner or Bazooka man,something like that...
So if you agree just say yes or just comment it!

Wouldn't this be better suited as a mod? To me, this seems like it would be one of those few HL2 mods that are of great quality, but it doesn't seem like that superb of a retail game. That's just my opinion. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's not retail good.
How do you know until it's out... I'm guessing you've never played it?
It's all very well complaining that it looks like source but in the end it's about how it plays, not how it looks, I mean Killing Floor is hardly cutting edge in the graphics department but it doesn't matter cuz it looks fine and plays well, and is popular.
As for whether it'd be better suited as a mod, well if they had to pump money into the project then no, it wouldn't.
I'm not saying the source engine is bad, I love it! I've got most, if not all, of Valve's games, and I love the moddablity of Source. All I'm saying is that so far, this just looks like an exceptional mod. Like Ztormi said, there have been other mods with seemingly better quality, but I may be speaking too soon. It's only 1 trailer, and I haven't played it.

Yea, trailer is good, game looks extremely awesome but I think it doesn't look or feel so much better than Insurgency or Neotokyo. I'm sceptical if it could even compete with Insurgency ( when the mod was more popular than ever ).
Time will tell.

WOW! I cannot believe how many people are giving this amazing indie title so many negative comments - this game looks amazing, the fact that there may be a few default sounds in there is nothing to worry about. The presentation is increadible - I look at many FULLY invested, current titles and they do not have this kind of polish. Good luck guys and if we didn't have our own game, I would have voted for you as the next great indie game 2010.
Hm. Doesn't look bad (especially like the character models), but I'll certainly not pay for this unless I see something more original.
E.Y.E is a good example of how to make an FPS on the Source engine without sticking to standard formula.

This looks very interesting. I only hope that players will cooperate with their commander instead of just running off and doing their own thing.
