The first of a series of NTE games, this title was built by the Navy as an elite testing simulator, players are able to measure their abilities to handle the intense pressure situations and technical demands of being a real Navy recruit. In Strike & Retrieve, a spy-plane has gone down somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean. On this plane was a piece of confidential data known as the Aurora ASE-5. Your mission is to locate the spy plane, crack the security code to retrieve the Aurora ASE-5, and return the plane to an Allied Pickup Zone. The plane is too deep for humans, so you must control an underwater ROV (remote operated vehicle). However, the foreign waters are not friendly, with dangerous aquatic life to avoid -- and don't forget, the enemy is on the same mission as you.
