It is hard to believe that the Legacy of Kain series is almost 20 years old. The latest incarnation inspired by the series from Square Enix and Psyonix is called Nosgoth, and open beta is now available via Steam. To celebrate this milestone double XP will be given to everyone who plays during the Open Beta.
The launch trailer is out, giving you a taste of what to expect - and it's a dark and brutal world full of Vampires and Humans tearing their opponents to shreds. So if you need to release a little steam, the Open Beta offers that and will continue to expand with new content, starting with the Summoner, a new Vampire class who call on the powers of the Underworld to command ravenous ghouls.
