Our favorite NS2 player Hugh over at the Natural Selection 2 HD YouTube channel has been doing an amazing job showing off our game. One might say he's doing a better job of it than we are! We are a small team and our focused on making the game, but still, his work has been impressive and rejuvenating for us!
This video is a few days old but does a great job highlighting something we've spent a lot of time on, and very little time showing to you: the alien atmosphere.

P.S. The reason all these new sound effects are in the game is due to a new effects system that went in Build 161. This new system makes it much easier to add, change and customize sounds, particles, animations, etc. for virtually all units in the game.
