Fixed Footstep Sounds Mod addon - Mirror's Edge

This mod is deprecated. The culprit is the OpenAL library that comes with the game. Here is a much simpler fix that involves replacing the OpenAL library in the game's directory: Steamcommunity.com

Q: Why does this mod exist?
A: If you've seen the gameplay of the console version of Mirror's Edge, you'll notice that the footstep sounds are somewhat slightly different from the ones heard on the Windows version.
I did a bit of investigation and found that the footstep sounds in the Windows version somehow seem to have some sort of "fade-in" effect, which isn't present in the original sound files ripped from the game.
What I did in this mod is adding a blank of about 0.01 second at the start of each footstep sounds, so the game would only "fade-in" the blank.
The result is that the footstep sounds played in-game will sound exactly like the original sound files.
The console version doesn't have this "fade-in" effect, so it plays the original sound files correctly, hence sounds different from the Windows version in the first place.

Q: Whether the game plays the footstep sounds correctly doesn't bother me. Why do I need this mod?
A: You don't! Basically I made this mod because apparently I'm the only one bothered by this problem :p
