Seeing as this is on sale for 2 bucks right now I quickly grabbed it.
I'm suspecting they had to take 2081 back to the drawing board. The version I got from Groupees two X-mas's ago was optimized for higher-end PCs meaning a smaller demographic of online players to be found.
I hope they add in more texture sets so those of us with slower PCs can opt the settings down.
I'm happy with Arena in the meantime and all I ask is that they provide us with Desura keys for 2081, once it's finished, so that we have an official update-able client to tie the game in with.
