Aether concepts idea seemed kinda better imo, this "Sky Dimension" needs some serious work, but will get really sweet when released.
That's just my opinion then, no need to say bad things or thumb down.
I played on a server which map looked similar to this dimension,
It was named "the skylands", you had to use dirt to travel through the islands which had some treasure huts at some places , glad to see it happen in the real project :D
I think it needs to be a bit more "heaven like", and be a bit higher up really, or..?
Needs Choppers or jump pads to traverse... hmmm.
Seems to me like Notch is making his own version of the Aether.
would be cool if the water on the right went all the way to the ground below :D

I think the Aether concept should be implemented instead of this. All this is is a normal world without 80% of the ground. Kind of boring. The Aether had new stuff: new ores, Mobs, blocks, etc. There would be more reason to go there, as opposed to having all the same blocks but with an increased risk of death.
Totally agree. I would only use this sky dimension to see how it looks and then go back to normal world..
