basically, whiners.
Whiners, they always ruin the cool ideas... Like the old bow for example.
There has to be a better reason than that, otherwise Jeb is being extremely childish.
Update: ore is back in due to community demand. is still very rare. trading is to be seen as the main way to obtain emeralds.

i dont get it. the ore is not intended to be the main way to get currency but rather trading other items to the villagers and therefore emerald is rare. whats the problem? i wouldnt want to find a chunk of currency in my back yard. you need to earn the money, not straight away find enough to buy a full diamond set and enough blocks to make a diamond castle.
That's a speculation.. I'll just wait until the next snapshot/update goes out (Or Jeb will tell anything about it)
