I learned allot from myself :) and by peaking into the regular missions, see how it is made and such. Then give it your own twist.

You're probably using a lower screen resolution.
I tested this on 1920x1080 only.
The plan in the future is to make submenu's so just wait till I update it. Sorry for the inconvenience

Oh, I need to remind you that the error occurs in Japanese missions. Could it be that I've replaced the game_progress.set file with SirHinkel's version?

Yeah, I've loaded the Khalkin Gol and tested it. The Aimrange+Accuracy will not work even after I activated it.

You need 2.05.15 I'm pretty sure.

Do you have the DLC's? It seems you don't.
I've included dlc's to work, but in order to avoid claims, I only included cheats and not the mission itself

Oh, delete the saves in your profile.
And yeah that means you might have to re-play all the missions.
Same thing happened to me in some missions. I fixed it by deleting all {"autosave"} lines in the mission's 0.mi file, so it's not autosaving anymore. That's better solution then deleting all of your save games.
never experienced that problem but i think deleting autosaves will prevent it from occuring again.
It's still better to delete the stuff from profiles, usually located at Documents--->my games.
