[March 19th, 2014 UPDATE] Version 4.5.1 Fix - Enables Cheats for Skirmish and COOP.
Cheats mod - Assault Squad 4.5.1 Fix
A mod that enables cheats-like system ingame
Installation:
# Copy the CheatsMod folder to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Men of War Assault Squad\mods
# Start the game. Go to options and from there to mods tab.
Enable the cheatsmod there.
You get:
Cheats:
# Godmode
Infinite: Health, Armor, Stamina and Fuel.
# Aimrange+Accuracy
You will gain huge aim range and accuracy. Never miss again.
# Instant Kill
This will make enemy infantry and tanks be killed by just one shot of a gun.
# Add money
You will gain 1000 per click (but I've set a maximum of 4500, don't ask me why)
Spawn-able units:
# Infantry
You will gain access to 7 different infantry squads.
# Ammo Drop
A single drop will give you a paradrop ammo crate!
# Tanks/Vehicles
Choose from 11 different tanks/vehicles to spawn.
# Artillery
Artillery is what you need in a battle. You have 7 to pick soldier!
# Airplanes
These can be a crucial part in battle. Drop 'm bombs skipper!
Other stuff:
# Delete spawned units
With this you can delete all cheatsmod created stuff
# Switch country
Want to make use of the enemy's tanks or infantry? Go ahead.
Fixes:
{clear? error should be fixed
Delete option is working better (still have to do some tankmen.)
4.5.0 :
- Reworked menu system (might not look like reworked, but I spent atleast 2 hours to get it right.)
- New menu icons trying to reflect WW2 a bit more.
- Change country button now functions as dynamic menus. You'll see what I mean.
- Delete button only shows when atleast one cheatsmod unit is created.
- Added 2 extra vehicles per faction.
- And probably more fixes that I forgot to mention
4.5 - 11 march FIX
- Vehicle spawns are now divided into 3 sub-menus. This is a fix for people with smaller Screen Resolution (Below 1600x900)

Somehow I deleted the player part of the cheats (godmode and such)

it would be good to put a tank destroyer menu when you update this game
A menu just for tank destroyers doesn't seem logic to me. I mean there are not many tank destroyers (real tank destroyers)
But I will take this in consideration.

Same guest as the last two posts above. I have gotten your mod to work with Dynamic Campaign Generator mod. My issue is that while I can spawn new units within the mission and add MP, when I enable the infinite health/armor or enable the fuel/stamina cheat they do not work. I followed your instructions in the how to use.txt file and added the correct country in my case ger because I was playing Germany. Again your logo appears in the lower right hand corner in the mission, and I can spawn all kinds of units, but enabling the health/stamina cheats do not get applied. Do you have any ideas of what I could try? Thanks.
Some posts below explains it. You need a new cheats file that point to player 1 (DCG uses player 1 instead of player 0) the reason the DCG uses player is probably because they just ported it over from mow to AS (mow uses player 1 allot) sadly I didn't include a cheat file for player 1 :/
But on the good side, I did fix the spawning to work for every player you might be. So atleast you can spawn stuff!

Finally figured it out. The Dynamic Campaign Generator sets the human player as player "1". Your cheat.mi file refers to the player as player "0" so the health mode and stamina mode were being set to the wrong player. Updated your cheat.mi file to player "1" everywhere it references player "0" and it works. Of course this will break the default missions that come with the game, so I will just clone your cheat.mi file one for the normal missions and one for the Dynamic Campaign Generator.

Yes, I totally forgot that other missions MIGHT use other players.
Men of War originally used player 1 as the standard player, but Assault Squad decided to use 0 for some reason.
Allot of Assault Squad mods are using the 0 player system probably because they want to follow the AS original gamesystem.
Sadly I can't make the cheats to work on the current player, as there is no function that does that.

In the tank destroyer menu you could put tank destoyers like the stug iii
stug iv,the marder series of tank destroyers and other English, Russian, and American tank destroyers.I think that the marder tank destroyer can be found GSM fields of honor IX
I've got the feeling Germans do have allot of tank destroyers, but the other countries aren't.
I will check out some stuff to include them.
About the last thing. I rather don't have other mods running inside cheatsmod. I like it to be a real extension to the game rather than a mod. If I say users must install a mod in order to play it, they will be forced to use other mods. And there is one thing I know about mods working together. It's a pain in the arse. So again, I like to keep things vanilla :)
Hi, I wanted to propose a little change in the mod: you have unlimited ammo if you select "health and armor" but if you make a new button just for ammo eh?. And some observations: after i activate the mod my soldiers can t take directly ammo or weapons from dead soldiers or tank, I need to throw them out from inventory to take them(only germans' camp. haven t this problem), and maybe you can make another cheat option or soldier order with which they search ammo in bodies or burning vehicles. About your first point. Cheatsmod does not have an infinite ammo option. Check if you have infinite ammo without cheatsmod too, as I have the feeling its not related to my mod.
I dont know about the bug about throwing out inventories of dead bodies. I've never heard or seen a bug like that. Again, if these are not official missions, it might be caused by that.
About that last thing, it's in consideration. Might be an usefull option to let them find stuff themselves. Although it might be hard/impossible to make some sort of function, I will try to find a way.
I thought that the vehicles could be taken from the GSM fields of honor IX mod without the need of having this mod activated. I also want to ask you how you learned to make mods.
Well I know that GSM comes with custom vehicles made by other persons. And well, they are not vanilla and I like things to be vanilla as possible.
And about mod making. Its just that I learnt all this stuff by peeking into the regular missions. How are they built etc.
On internet there are some tutorials, but they are somewhat basic, and you just bake it into a creative thing.
The sole base of this mod relies on the simplest thing I found as a tutorial. How to make reinforcements. Next thing I peeked into the Skirmish mission from AS and learnt how to make menus (to be honest, I did not really learn much, as the menus are just scripted and don't even work without them. They are basically just reinforcements)
I just goofed around in the gem editor, and thats what got me this far. It's all just trying stuff out. In the end, it got me making a mod out of it, which is pretty awesome as I never thought it would get this much attention :)

Working on cheatsmod 4.4 for Men of War at the moment.
I've optimized the script a little more again.
A full list of new features will ofcourse include with the download itself, so stay tuned I guess.
Slight problem I have, I think the mod may have disabled every keyboard shortcut, I cant open the map with "M" I cant direct control the units with "E" I have to click the Icons, please fix or tell me how to fix if you know.
Well you can always find out if it is cheatsmod or not.
Simply disable cheatsmod. Check if it persist. Does it persist? Then it's not cheatsmod. Does it work again? Then it might be cheatsmod.
But to be honest, I have never experienced this. So I also don't know how to fix this for you.
What you can try if it doesn't work at all, try to make a new user in Men of War (AS). As it sounds your user is bugged to hell.

in my sniper inventory they got ammo para drop, how to use it?
It's a grenade I think. You throw it and it will drop ammo

It works best on the latest version. In older versions you might find blue (missing breed/textures).
I can not capture flags on the single player campaing with the grenediers that are on the half-tracks
Thats right, they do not contain the "pl" and "player" tag. The flags are only capturable by those who have those tags.

Is there a way to tweak it so I can use it on sirhinkels (tough as **** missions on hard lol)? I saw the "how to use" file and there's the 'include/cheats.mi' or something like that.

When AS2 comes out, as I think I will improve it, and will port it to other MoW games too. So it may take some time (as the release date is atleast end of February)

Yes. I hope to improve it though.
For the closed beta, there is already a cheatsmod on steamworkshop and can only be found there (atleast so far)
This will keep the cheats up to date, without keeping track on moddb

I learned allot from myself :) and by peaking into the regular missions, see how it is made and such. Then give it your own twist.
