[March 19th, 2014 UPDATE] Version 4.5.1 Fix - Enables Cheats for Skirmish and COOP.
Cheats mod - Assault Squad 4.5.1 Fix
A mod that enables cheats-like system ingame
Installation:
# Copy the CheatsMod folder to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Men of War Assault Squad\mods
# Start the game. Go to options and from there to mods tab.
Enable the cheatsmod there.
You get:
Cheats:
# Godmode
Infinite: Health, Armor, Stamina and Fuel.
# Aimrange+Accuracy
You will gain huge aim range and accuracy. Never miss again.
# Instant Kill
This will make enemy infantry and tanks be killed by just one shot of a gun.
# Add money
You will gain 1000 per click (but I've set a maximum of 4500, don't ask me why)
Spawn-able units:
# Infantry
You will gain access to 7 different infantry squads.
# Ammo Drop
A single drop will give you a paradrop ammo crate!
# Tanks/Vehicles
Choose from 11 different tanks/vehicles to spawn.
# Artillery
Artillery is what you need in a battle. You have 7 to pick soldier!
# Airplanes
These can be a crucial part in battle. Drop 'm bombs skipper!
Other stuff:
# Delete spawned units
With this you can delete all cheatsmod created stuff
# Switch country
Want to make use of the enemy's tanks or infantry? Go ahead.
Fixes:
{clear? error should be fixed
Delete option is working better (still have to do some tankmen.)
4.5.0 :
- Reworked menu system (might not look like reworked, but I spent atleast 2 hours to get it right.)
- New menu icons trying to reflect WW2 a bit more.
- Change country button now functions as dynamic menus. You'll see what I mean.
- Delete button only shows when atleast one cheatsmod unit is created.
- Added 2 extra vehicles per faction.
- And probably more fixes that I forgot to mention
4.5 - 11 march FIX
- Vehicle spawns are now divided into 3 sub-menus. This is a fix for people with smaller Screen Resolution (Below 1600x900)
4.5.1 - 15 march FIX
Somehow I deleted the player part of the cheats (godmode and such)
That is now fixed, sorry guys

Hi. I need some help, The mod when i activate it (im running 2.00.11 patch for MoW:AS) (running 3.3.0 version of mod) says the mod is version 1.0 not 3.3.0 and i go into mod folder and there is no version 1.0 in mods folder (version 1.0 is only on mod activate page no other cheatenable mod)and now im very confused. PLEASE HELP ME!
Your using 3.3.0? Download the 3.3.1 CM mod.
By the way: go to 1cpublishing.eu
get the newest patch there (2.05.15)
But download 2.05.13 and 14, then install 13 then 14 and for last 15 ( this is for Staying in Sync )
i have the patches but the 1.0 cheat mod (i have 3.3.1 in mod folder)in the mod activate menu is still there not the 3.3.1 mod. HELPZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have copied, with overwrite mode? It sounds like old files are still in there.
I have deleted all 1.0 and old versions of cheat mod on my computer for Assault Squad, still didnt work though. Please help me anyone.
Delete the CM from the mods folder and place 3.3.1
so, its like: Delete CM from mods folder, Download the CM again and place it again at the mods folder
i got a question: if i make a server in MP and everybody is using Cheats Mod, will the cheats work?
I have tested this mod in LAN, and only I can say that cheats worked.
Spawning is a different thing, as it does not assign to you. Instead it asigns it to some slot, so no one can use. But I am ofcourse not sure, you can always test this out!

Exlude {mission} from 0.mi. so at the start of the file delete {mission and at the end of the file delete }
Now rename the 0.mi into mission (or whatever)
Copy an already existing cheat mod mission, copy that 0.mi
to the custom map folder.
copy side.mi (which basicly tells what units you can spawn)
to on folder above your custom mission.
Now if it does boot up and show you cheats (after mission restart) and spawned units are enemies: The mapper did a terrible job sticking to standards that Assault Squad is asking
is it just me? i dont understand that 0.mi and side.mi stuff (or whatever they are called). can u explain it a little bit? like where do i get the 0.mi and that stuff (i wanna learn this so i can play Sir Hinkels missions with cheats)

But the 0.mi is a mission.
If you want to mod the mod, you need to find out where the missions (of sirhinkels) are stored. It's really easy when you know the structure, its dead simple :)
i cant play the custom maps in 2.05.13.
when i load a level it gets black n' the only thing that appears is the minimap and the comands

Because you dont have the extra DLC maps. Buy them :) or dont

the mod doesnt work on the assault squad goty edition? i activated it but cant see any cheat menu on the spawning bar :/

yeah, i restarted the game, tried with different skirmish missions, deactivated/activated the mod, none of them seems to be worked
What version of the game are u using and are u using Version 3.3.1 CM? Did u also place the mod at the mods folder and activated CM in the game?
im using the 2.05.15 of the goty edition and the 3.3.1 cm. i placed it in the mod folder and i can activate/deactivate it (it also puta a "cheats enabled" logo to the bottom main menu). but still, no cheats menu ingame
Idk, i never got anything like that... Did u install your game with 2.05.13 and 14 too? If yes and your CM still is not working, i think your game is f*cked up...
lol, i downloaded the cm again and now its works, seems somehow the last file was corrupted...

Cheats mod wil not work with mission that come from other mods.
To enable it for those missions, you will need to edit the mission on a way it loads the cheats mod.
So it is possible, but not Out of the box
The mod's not working with my game. I have the version 1.81. I tried removing all other mods and starting from scratch. Didn't work. And the attached mission gives a blank screen. Any thing i can do?
Blank screen means you are missing missions, you probably mean the last 2 missions of each campain. This is normal due to a map pack you need to have (DLC, will cost ya money)
Did you start all this mission from start, or did you do a load game?
If there is anything wrong, download again, as I heard some ppl that their download was not completed 100%, while it clearly stated it was 100%
well, i dwonloaded your other cheat mods for the different versions of men of war and copied the files in the resources folder into the main game resource folder. I don't really remember how I did it but it works now. I mean the cheats work fine. I've not tried the missions part yet. ty
Cheats mod from other men of war do not run stable, nor do they work at all. Unless you only copy the cheats file, and not the missions itself

This will not work. The reason is that the cheats mod is not some sort of enabler. Cheats mod will edit the regular missions so that it loads cheats. Standard cheats mod does not support this. Maybe I might support Sir Hinkels missions in the future, but I dont know if SirHinkel is gonna be pleased with that!
But we are using Sirhinkel's mod and your mod with it, were not breaking any rules. The game still stays the same. Its just that we are using cheats.
The game will run, but cheats are not loaded officialy.
Cheats only run on official missions as for now.
Problem with making cheats for those missions, is that Sir Hinkel updates his missions weekly (?)
This means that if he makes an update, you need to update your cheats mod.
Then I get allot of hate comments that it wont work for sir hinkel, as people are too dumb to update their mods to keep it synced.
It is possible to do, but I keep this to the user. He or she decides if they want to have cheats in other missions, he or she has to manually edit some lines :)
Ok I understand that, but maybe you'd find a couple of minutes to write a short tutorial on how to go about it. I can change eg inventory for Supply Truck in the *.def file (original missions), but when I do it for the Veteran Tiger - change does not work... dont know why (i increase box inventory - but content still show as standard - even i was carefully with quantity...). Where to look for of parameters for the infantry, health, etc. and many questions...
Step 1: How to add a chat BUTTON (or easier to use the shortcut key) on the menu for any mod.
Step 2: GOD MODE - example of how to add a unit (to be honest I'd rather be able to decide which will be indestructible).
Step 3: SUPPLY POINTS but not necessarily... and some with SPAWN one example for get more experience...

I definately should write a tutorial about it, but it's time consuming.
#1: I've been working on a way to easily add more cheat buttons for more spawnings. The hotkey thing, that is not going to work, as the game does not have a function for that (as a script)
#2: The cheat mod is basicly a mission, that is loaded with the current mission. Therefore, I am scripting like a normal map maker does.
As far as I know, there is no option that checks what unit you have selected, thus I can not make it so, that if you click a unit, then pressing godmode will affect it.
3: Supply points? you mean in single player? as there is already a cheat for that "add money"
Experience? you mean the progress in Assault Squad's missions? Then no, it will make the missions pretty ****** up, as its map decided when you get experience

mod to add to the cheat mode (not necessarily spawn function units)
to be able to use God Mode, Supply Points, and AIM.
Surely you have a lot of experience and valuable tips on how to find
the right information and be edited for individual units.
For example want to edit the properties of a "rifleman" is a couple of
files named *rifle*.* (.def and .set files) but all has a differing data,
so how to recognize the right one?
I tried to edit some parameters like amount of ammo but not not all changes
are included in the game... (in this one file change for speed i work but for inventory not)

Making the cheats mod myself gave me as much fun as the game did. Maybe even more fun, as it is really an head-acher!
