Men of War: Assault Squad 2 features new single player style skirmish modes that take players from extreme tank combat to deadly sniper stealth missions. Commanders can now faceoff against opponents on various new multiplayer 1v1 – 4v4 maps. To truly bring the battles to life though there is the new 8v8 game mode designed for huge battles on spectacular maps. This new Assault Squad game brings significant game engine and visual improvements as well, with special attention paid to ones that were highly requested by the players.

Description

Hawkbat battalion has been dispatched on a wild space planet that the CIS have set up bases throughout the world. They abuse the worlds natural and raw resources by setting up mines and enslaving civilians. 'Jester' squad along with a few other troopers, was despatched from their Acclamator to assassinate a confederacy leader, and setup charges around one of the planets bases' stealthfully. However, the CIS radar and anti-aircraft emplacements got the best of the squad and their LAAT was shot down in close proximity to the base. The squad thinking that they are doomed during their 'last stand' is advised of a platoon of Hawkbat battalion troopers nearby to their relief. They rendezvous with the main strike team to attempt and infiltrate the CIS base, while attempting to complete their main objective. (Part 2?... comment)
