Do you hate that B1 battle droids can take a absurd amount of shots before being destroyed? And that they carry and heal themselves through bandage?
Do you find strange that standard stormtroopers have pinpoint accuracy in the mod, while in the movies several stormtroopers can't hit a single person that is less than 10 meters in front of them?
Then this addon is for you!

====== MAIN CHANGES ======

- Unit stats and inventory have been rebalanced to reflect lore
- All main weapons had their stats changed
- Combat is LETHAL. One shot at less than 30 meters can kill almost any unit except for heroes
- Droids don't carry bandages, have zero health regeneration but have lots of stamina and stamina regeneration (robots don't get tired)
- Unit rankings have been taken into account when doing the changes. Elite troops have better stats, weapons skills and carry more supplies
- Clones have much more stamina, health and stamina regeneration than normal humans to reflect their modified genes and training since birth
- Units are 2x less accurate. No more pinpoint accuracy except for sniper rifles
- A few new units that were missing in the single folder (e.g. Dark Trooper phase 0)
- Turrets (both manned and non-manned) will fire in bursts (They didn't before)
- Vehicles will shoot at each other (v1.2)
- Infantry with bazookas will shoot at vehicles (v1.2)

When downloaded and extracted does it kick in automatically?
Yes. Delete the original set folder inside the mod folder and extract the set folder from the archive.
does this fix the tanks issues? Like tanks cant attack another tank? It really needs some fix.
No. I decided to fix infantry first. I will see what i can do about this.

About Rebels:
I will need to do rookie and veteran versions of all the rebel units (that's about 968 * 3 = 2904 units). That's a lot of work. Version 0.4 of GAW will probably be released soon so it will be pointless for me to do this now.
About Bazookas:
Are you experiencing any problems? The only thing i did to them was to change the reload time to 5 from 3 seconds, so no more B2 droids killing everyone with their wrist rockets.
AT infantry does not automatically target and fire at vehicles with their bazookas, could you look into this?

do the HE round from tanks cause "Explosions" cuz it would do damage in 0.3 version of the mod but the grass just moved around it and the units died. :P
Yes. I didn't modify any of the vehicle guns yet. If you're talking about dwarf droids explosive rounds it was there from the beginning.
ok cool I can deal with that in the meantime. Its just I was playing 0.2 this whole time cuz of the bugs in 0.3 now I can play with the newer cleaner textured units from 0.3 Thanks man! :D

for some reason my rocket troops still don't engage vehicles. (Just noticed today.) They will actively seek them out and get in range and point their bazookas at them but will never actually pull the trigger. Anyone else experiencing this?
When i tested v1.1, i was playing a infinite wave map (Republic vs CIS). A AAT rushed through the republic line and i saw two clones firing their bazookas at it (they missed though). What vehicles they don't fire their bazooka at?
well for me it seems to be for all vehicles (I tried with AAT.)but at the time I made a clone vs stormtrooper/walker assault scenario and the clones refused to fire at the AT-AT. But I played around a little with it today and it seems if I put all bazookers on bombardment order they will continue to fire even if the vehicle is destroyed or until I give them another order. Otherwise I would have to use direct control one at a time. So a bombardment order is sorta like a fix but they still won't automatically engage on sight.
Decided to test the same map again and now i'm experiencing the same thing as you. The infantry just aim the bazookas and don't fire at vehicles, but they fire at super battle droids for some reason.
I'm pretty short on time so it will take a while for a new update so please be patient.

tested the game with different combinations heres the result author if it may help u:)
old version---veichels dint engage veichels(atte vs aat),but soldiers attack veichels even with bazooka and rifles
version2------veichels engage veichels(atte vs aat(,but soldiers dont attack veichels both with blasters and rifle

v1.2 is almost finished. Already fixed the issue with vehicles and infantry. Just need to fix some little things. Probably will be done by tomorrow.

I really enjoy the tanks fighting each other, but since I'm also using other mods with stronger units, it really affects my maps (it used to be a fair fight with the original Galaxy At War units but now units from other mods have necessarely more health). Is there any way I can tweak your patch to make it so the Star Wars units keep their original stats? Thanks for the patch, you did what the mod's developpers were too lazy to do!
Delete the "breed" folder from resource\set after installing the addon and then extract the "breed" folder inside "original/set" (is in the archive) into resource\set. In this way the game will use the original unit stats and inventory. But you will not be able to use the new units breeds like the stormtrooper 65th coruscant guard , 7th sky corps, magmaguards and etc.

thanks for the mod men!! but There would be a small problem,the HE rounds explosions his missing for all tanks and walkers It would be very good to solve it..... and sory for my badd English.
and one more thing assault cannons rounds does not automatically target and fire at infantry.
1st post: Are you talking about large cannons like the AAT main gun?
2nd post: Yes i know. They will only fire at infantry if they have HE rounds, but since HE rounds for assault cannons doesn't exist they never fire at infantry. I will fix it.

nice Addon, but i'm just defending the stormtroopers here and if they had shoot every thing in the old Movies then it would be a short trheelogy.
PS, i'm my eng is not the best i know ;)
The movies are just for show. They don't hit anything because if they did they would kill the heroes and that wouldn't be a good thing. But if you take into account the expanded universe (legends) that's a whole different thing. They actually hit things there, and hit a lot.

Hey looks like you changed a couple of things. haven't been playing mowas2 in a while. I've been playing arma 3 with the star wars opposition mod but my pc can't handle huge battles on that game so I had to play with only a platoon vs a platoon. It's a great mod but its missing a lot of vehicle assets and i'm itching for some bigger battles so i'm bout to download this and give gaw another go.
Is it possible to make clones and droids not to lay down on the ground while they fight? I mean like in the movies clones and droids are just goin on each other while shootin.
I really love this mod, but I'm wondering if you can manage to make aircrafts actually attack by themselves? I always have to manually operate their guns and i just wish I could be taking care of the battle while the AI takes care of their guns.
Yeah would be great same with infantry to attack tanks etc.
Yes it can be done. Just need to find the ammo type for aircraft and them add it to the list of ammo that is used against certain unit types (infantry/tanks/etc).
Edit: Doesn't work. Airborne units don't seem to operate the same way ground units do.
