Description
In this mod I added almost ALL MW2 soundtrack ripped by myself. Currently it's 54 music tracks for action, 4 tracks for main menu (music from MW 3, MW3: Pirates Moon, MW4, Mechcommander 2), 4 tracks for win and 4 tracks for lose (music from MW4, MW4: Mercenaries, Mechcommander 2, MW: Living Legend). For install just unpack z-MW2_custom_music.pak into your "MechWarrior Online\Game" folder. PGI allows user sound mods. So it's legal.

For anyone like me who was "Yes. I will have more soundtracks for my collection, thank you." upon seeing this on their updates (or somethin'):
It's a .pak file, which you can't play directly in WinAmp or something.
It should be doable to extract individual, playable audio tracks from it, but unfortunately I've been unable to find a tool for that end. A MechWarrior game named "Inner Sphere 'Mech Pak" isn't helping my search results either xP
However I'm sure Hey-Pi-Ron (who uploaded this) should know where/how to obtain said tool, unless the software he used to make the .pak file for download here can *only* cook files (and unable to reverse the process).
pak is just a zip-archive. You can extract it with 7zip for example. Or just rename pak to zip.
I... somehow didn't think to try that.
These shall make a fine addition to my collection, then.
I made additional "Classic" version featured music only from MW2/MW2GBL/MW2Mrecs.
