Martian Empires is a massively multiplayer online political simulation game. Players create their own fictional martian colony, which must then be managed both domestically and diplomatically. Colonies can group together to form Factions in an effort to exercise economic, military, and diplomatic control. Martian Empires is 100% free to play.

Martian Empires has not been a smash-hit, however, the players that have actually tried the game have liked it quite a bit and have stuck around. As the developer, I'm pleased to say that things are running along smoothly, and that with time the game should grow even more.
I'm hoping that through the IndieDB community, it might attract more attention and perhaps gain a few more players, which adds to the overall playability. Stay tuned for more updates about the game.

Dear Developers,
Yes! It is a nice game, which I am currently playing, but I don't loose that feeling that the game lacks something.
The game itself is based on an easy engine, but there are some nice things other games should also have. I like the charts very much.
Well, I could "forget" about the lacks of game-features, if the community was active&strong. I already posted in the the Martian-empire forum and let me repeat what I wrote there: Didn't you gouys think about ads? I mean, if money's the only thing which blocks your progress, wouldn't it be lucrative(a too big word) to get some Google/Yahoo ads?
I actually would like to stick to this game as the setting is very interesting. There aren't many such games out there. For your sake, you should do something about the game!
Like this game! You can have fun playing it, while just using 5 - 10 minutes a day. Of cause you it get lots more fun if you use 'a little' more time then that :)
