Macro Wars is a multiplayer, Real Time Strategy Game. One Vs One and up to Eight player Team Macro-management(RTS Term) Battles. This game is mainly inspired by but nothing like high demanding PC Strategy Games such as Starcraft and Command & Conquer. I wanted to try and bring some aspects of these games to Touch Screen Devices. Though it had to be something I felt was within my scope as a sole part time hobbyist developer. I no longer play many games due to serious RSI in my right hand. I'm 42 years old and gaming for so long it has taken it toll. This game currently has Zero paid Marketing so you might need to invite a friend in order to try multiplayer. There is a Single Player mode with no AI if you want to get a feel for how it plays. Development of this game is ongoing and has had Zero funding. Please visit the website for most recent Game Guide and information.

Macro Wars – A Multiplayer Real Time Strategy Game for Android

Macro Wars is a game that is zero funded and purely a personal project that I have been developing and will continue to develop in my spare time.
It is a multiplayer only game at this time (though there is a single player testing mode) and is mainly influenced by games like Starcraft that push the player to have reliance on good multi-tasking, decision making and awareness.

Please note that I have only been able to test this game myself and there will likely be undetected bugs and possible server problems. If problems do occur then I will work the best I can with the limited time I have available to sort any problems out.

The multiplayer game modes currently supported are:
1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, 3 vs 3, 4 vs 4, 4 player free for all and 8 player free for all modes.

The game play consists of a randomly generated 2d terrain where the world is mirrored for fair play (apart from free for all modes). There is also a Fog of War to hide other players actions.
When the game starts there is a 10 second countdown down where players can decide their ideal starting position based on the resources, hard blocks and bonus blocks they can see and maybe depending on a particular play style.
