Well today underlines a landmark day for ltktbm aq2, the full install of the stand alone version is about to go into internal testing later today, the majority of the re-texturing work required to make the stand alone version legal for those who dont own Quake 2 has been completed. Just some docs and code cleaning to complete and we go 'wild'. This version is based on q2ice, A nice improvement to the q2 engine by idle, which as you can see in the screens has yeilded great improvements in the general graphics of the game (and a lot of hard work re-texturing)

This release comes with 15 fully supported maps, all of which will have been retextured for maxmum graphical effect at time of release. All 15 maps have now been thoroughally tested with the bots with all but a few minor tweeks remaining. The next improvements to the bot AI will take place in parrallel with the internal testing so expect the full release as soon as we've got as many of those nasty little bugs squashed as possible.
