Hi everyone!

We here at Amazu Media are hard at work on Light Apprentice. We are very excited about this that is really our first game, and we hope you will enjoy it too! We have decided on the release date, and we are going to put all our efforts into delivering the iPad version on November 14th, 2012. With that clear, let's take a look into the lates development in the production, shall we?

- Transparent walls

One of the biggest complaints we had when we released the alpha (especially from people who skipped the turorial and didn't know you could turn the camera with Q and E) was the fact that the walls would get in the way whenever your characters were too close to it, making it impossible to see them and the tiles in which to click.

For everyone complaining about this, I can finally say: fear not! This is totally being worked on!!

And right now it looks kind of bad, but I want to believe we're slowly getting there.

- Fog of war
So I had this idea of implementing traps, and making the maps more into mazes, all that to emphasize exploration, an element we didn't have in the alpha at all, but that would make the game much more interesting and less bashed-based... but if the players can see the whole map, where really is the exploration element?
Now, I present you the new fog of war (that we're working on)! It will hide all the dangers and treasures ahead of you, making you always want to discover what on the next tiles.

And this is how it's looking now. (not fully implemented)

- Production schedule sheet
And from now on, I am going to be sharing teh team's schedule with you. I am not saying we are going to do it on time, but that we are going to try our best to. And hopefully, you'll stick with us until release date. So take a look:

As you can see, we're going to have one milestone reached very soon. This particular milestone means we're going to be finishing a list of very important must-haves for the new version of the game, like the functions for chests, traps, and many little improvements on the combat system.

Something very important is that this schedule is not final, and it will probably be changed many times.

- Please watch this game
If you're looking forward to Light Apprentice or want to know more about it or even just show your support in any way, please click on +watch to the right, it really means a lot ;) Also, we're not focusing only on the game making itself anymore, but also on creating some attention to the release, so if you wanna help or have any tips, it would be great to hear from you. ALSO, we'd love to hear if you have any comments, questions or feedback from the alpha (while there's still time), so please drop us a line downstairs.

Thanks a lot and see you next time!

- Igor
