'Life of Rome' is a third and first-person massively multiplayer online action role playing game (MMORPG) set in the persistent world of Rome. The game is played from the point of view of both Roman and Barbarian; designed to emphasise roleplay and community using a faction system and player-driven politics. The in-game world is a 50km2 representation of Rome and its surrounding areas, including several small villages and Roman forts. Players interact with each other in a series of locations spread across the area. Major roleplaying-based storylines, purely optional, will be started and run by Breakout Studio staff as well as players. Players in a position of power may also affect gameplay by setting a faction’s agenda, creating long-term political, economic, or military goals, which are broken up into missions handed down through a faction’s hierarchy in the form of player generated and driven missions.

We're 6 days into our Steam Greenlight and would like to thank everyone who has voted and commented so far. We're now 25% of the way to the Top 100 with 1,121 Yes votes! Thank you all so much! For anyone who would like to vote: Steamcommunity.com

We've seen a few repeated questions in the comment section - hopefully we can provide some quick answers:

1. Linux Support?
Currently we are developing on Windows and Mac due to not having a Linux system, and as such have been unable to test a Linux build; however due to us using the Unity engine a Linux build is entirely possible.

2 Supported Languages?
We've had a few comments requesting or asking about which languages will be supported. At this point, we are still working in English, however we intend to support English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Russian and Spanish at release. If any more are requested regularly, will will happily look into adding more.

3.Improved Graphics?
We have very recently upgraded to the Unity 5 Beta, so are now using Global Illumination and upgraded to DirectX11, - we've also recently begun incorporating SpeedTree which will be used for the majority of our trees, grass and foliage. We're taking everyone's comments on board and will be working on improving the graphic fidelity.

Once again, thank you all so much for your support so far!

These people have admitted to cancelling the project, and the money people have paid for pre-ordering it in any such way have been scammed. As that money is gone and will not be returned.

Will it have most of it's features? it would be so cool that you guys kept it almost a 95 % of what RV was.
