We’ve been developing this game and polishing the idea for several months now, and we believe its at a point where we can share it with the world. It’s still in its early stages of development, all expenses for which have been out-of-pocket. To be able to continue developing it without starving, however, we’re going to need some help from the gaming community!
We’ll be posting a Kickstarter project in March. We’re not asking for hundreds of thousands of dollars. We believe quality games require more time and effort than money. But unfortunately, money is a necessary requirement, and so we must pitch our game to the Kickstarter community and see how it is received. Should all go well, we’ll be quitting our jobs and dedicating 100% of our energy into development. Now enough of the boring stuff. Onto the game!
What is Leave None Behind?
To put it simply: Leave None Behind is a single player mash between an adventure game, a puzzle game, and a platformer. You, the player, control three characters, who are held captive in a strange factory that has become your prison. The game is set in WW2, yet the technology you experience in this place seems to be decades ahead of even present day. The three unlikely allies meet within the confines of the factory, and share little in common, except for one thing: they are all being held captive, they don’t know why, and they all want to escape.
Their uniqueness comes at an advantage, however, as they are all experts in their respective fields. Nikolai, the Brute; with the width of three men, and the strength of thirty; assists his allies by moving and breaking down obstacles that get in their path. Wilhelm, the Engineer; his intellect is unrivaled, with curiosity to match; learns to control, and even manipulate, the strange technology to their advantage. Jack the Marine, hardened by his experiences in war; uses his quick wits and resourcefulness to provide shortcuts and alternate paths.
Escaping from this place won’t be as easy as it sounds, however. The place is a labyrinth. They must learn to set aside their differences and work together. For neither one can escape without the help of the others.

Beautiful production on that trailer. What tool did you use to make it?
Looking quite good so far. Lost Vikings found and refined a great facet of puzzle platforming mechanics. Other than the sequel, I know of no games that have successfully revived that gameplay with polish and poise. Leave None Behind has some big shoes to fill, but I certainly like what I see so far. Can't wait to see some puzzles!
