In the flash world of Half Life 2, the events that have taken place during the Black Mesa incident are happening again. Buried in the side of a mountain near City 17, Lab 17 scientists have been conducting experiments similar to those of the Black Mesa scientists. Like the horrible event that took place after the Black Mesa incident, experiments have gone horribly wrong. A portal has opened up, pouring headcrabs into Lab 17. As scientist after scientist falls to the headcrabs, a rumor spreads among the remaining Lab 17 personnel that the dreaded headcrab king and queen has passed through the portal as well. Believing that they have no chance to survive, the last of the scientists of Lab 17 release their test subjects, mutated, laser ball shooting beetles. Biologically enchanced, these creatures are the last hope of Lab 17...

Hello everyone. I know, you're all probably wondering why I'm going to abandon this so soon.

Hi everyone. I will be canceling Lab 17: Flash. I'm sorry, but there doesn't seem to be anything that I can do about this. So, instead of making Lab 17: Flash, I'll be making Lab 17! Confused? I don't blame you. Anyway, the difference between Lab 17 and Lab 17: Flash is that Lab 17 will be a modification for Alien Swarm. Also, I'll be changing the main character for Lab 17. The following will be included in Lab 17:

-Maps (of course)
-Half Life 2 enemies
-A variety of weapons
-Possible co-op mode
-Possibly multiplayer

Again, I am sorry for canceling Lab 17: Flash. Also, Lab 17 will not be posted on Moddb for quite a while. Don't look for it too soon.
