Get back to the medieval times where men have to face each other and fight with swords in order to show whose empire is the best! Lead your empire in a campaign to destroy the enemy faction that's showing a threat to your Kingdom! This is version 1.0.0 with no music and a tiny bug! Enjoy!
DEV NOTES:
First of all, i'm really sorry about the AI...i'll try to make a better one next time. Problem wasn't that i didn't have the skills and experience in GM:S to make a better one, but that i had to pay the price of how optimized the game would turn out in the end. That made me realize why Total War's AI works the way it does... I should also apologize for the graphics. The game was first thrown into development back in 2013 and the gameplay was pretty much done, so when i re-started the project i didn't bother re-making the graphics that were already there and just made some UI and menu graphics.
HINTS & HELP:
-
This isn't mentioned anywhere in the tutorial so i will just say it here that you can use scroll or left/right to scroll through the map and reveal other levels.
-
You have 3 abilities in total and you can buy uses only for the first two. The third one can be used unlimited times but at the cost of the cooldown being higher than the other abilities.
-
It's best to use arrows against enemy soldiers and not enemy knights because there's a higher chance of getting more kills. You don't have to worry about the boulder ability, though, because whoever it hits....GETS DESTROYED!!!
-
It's recommended that you don't waste all your coins on abilities in the very first levels but in soldiers and knights.
-
When choosing how many troops to deploy in battle, try not to choose all of them(at least for the knights) because if you get defeated, you'll need as many soldiers as possible. The knights' spawning time is the same as the soldiers' one which leads in losing them way easier(since most of the times they are less than the soldiers).
-
Small tip: If you don't know how many numbers of enemies await you in a battle, try going to settings and choose "Additional Info". Then go to battle with a small number of soldiers. There'll be a text on the left in cyan colour saying the number of the enemies. Click "Retreat" before your soldiers go into their death and then replay choosing the right amount of soldiers and knights.
-
Pro tip: If it starts getting laggy, you can go to settings and click "Hide blood".
- You can press "Esc" at any time while in-game(and not in battle) to either Exit game, Save or go to settings.
(If you encounter bugs, glitches or anything that has to do with loading your game, try deleting a folder named "Army" in your %appdata%)
Enjoy the game and thank you for playing! :)
