King Randall's Party is a side-scrolling fortress defense game where you build your defenses block by block, from the ground up, to defend the Royal Treasury from... the King! King Randall MCXXXVIII has just been crowned and has decided to throw a massive coronation party in celebration. You, playing as the Royal Treasurer, cannot allow the kingdoms precious funds from being spent in such a frivolous manner; the King must be stopped!
So I finally got grass so it's auto implemented. You might have seen it in screen shots before - but previously I had to pain the grass in manually in the level editor. This way it gets applied automatically so I don't have to spend a lot of time messing around in the editor when I'm changing it for testing or balance purposes.
Also, in-block shadows! All the blocks (and the ground) were lit equally. So I threw in some shadows in there to spice stuff up. We will see what people say about it.
