Love the attachments, too bad the HBS (?) is blocking whats underneath. All around good work. Too bad the dude forgot to buy his lens :P

He means Heart Beat Sensor, but it's actually supposed to be a GPS type thing kinda like in HL2 Ep2, I tried to make it not look tooooo much like the heart beat sensor though lol

US army actualy tried to make a system similar to it but failed. thats were COD got the idea.
It's more likely one of the devs read Rainbow Six, they use one toward the end in the book.

The reason why there is no lens texture is because in the source engine its a RT texture and in Max it doesn't show that effect. And for the Hear Beat Sensor its actually a Vgui map like GPS, much much more of a n excellent idea. Good job here again Jlea
Please don't just have it RT the whole time. For anyone who's ever used optics on a rifle before (or even a pair of binoculars) it just looks wrong. The only time you can see **** through any form of optical sight is when you're directly lined up with it, and even then if your eye relief is out the sight picture will be blurred, constricted, or otherwise bad. While you're not actually aiming through the sight, all you should see is the reflective coating of the lens.
Most people probably don't care (or know any better), but it seems nobody can be bothered to put in the effort anymore (even Insurgency, which did it originally, changed it for some retarded reason).
