Seeing how our project is going makes us believe that we can succeed in making this game great for everyone. But in order to do that we will have to take careful steps to not compromise our promise.
This being said we are making changes to the narrative, we want to have a game that is focused on the narrative and not a exploration game with bits of story. To do that we are currently under research about topics like the psycology of horror, the principals of telling a good story and most importantly a good adaptation from the known legend. Next week we will be sure to have some news about the general idea we want to follow in Howling Night, stay tunned.

In the latest weeks we have been doing some experiments and tests with a small prototype, in order to test some of the main mechanics of the core game, as of right now, we only have the walking of the protagonist with animation, and the mechanic of light, being able to turn it on and off at any time.

Below you can take a look at a small video showcasing those mechanics.

Note that the animations and the art are not final, these are only place holder assets in order to guide us during the game development of the game. Assets made by ElvGames.

That is all for this week, hope everyone is enjoying our progress, be sure to have some news next week about art sketches and how our narrative will flow.

Thank you.
