The year is 2027. The world as we know it is unraveling after fifteen years of economic meltdown and widespread global conflict over dwindling natural resources. A once proud America has fallen, her infrastructure shattered and military in disarray. Crippled by a devastating EMP strike, the USA is powerless to resist the ever expanding occupation of a savage, nuclear armed Greater Korean Republic. Abandoned by her former allies, the United States is a bleak landscape of walled towns and abandoned suburbs. This is a police state where high school stadiums have become detention centers, and shopping malls shelter armored attack vehicles. A once-free people are now prisoners... or collaborators... or revolutionaries.
amazing campaign story and everything
Easily one of the worst games I have ever played.
In the singleplayer campaign there is an incredibly cheap blatant attempt to give some sort of meaning, pull at emotion or whatever it was they intended by having dozens of civilians executed and mowed down by gunfire and wanton violence more vicious than Hitler's SS would dream, and not all too longer after those instances you're introduced to a mass grave.
Where in Mass Effect 3 they managed to summarize the global genocide of humanity on Earth by focusing on the death of a single kid being killed in a shuttle shot down as Shepard leaves, this game utterly failed after tossing hundreds of dead civilians at your face. It is a ******* disgrace.
When it comes to multiplayer, I have no idea. After joining a server I spawned and proceeded to get sniped within a few seconds several times until I just quit the game and uninstalled. I never saw a single person and never will unless someone pays me to play that shite.
I rather have spent the $5 put towards this game on a big bag of Skittles.
(I'm not surprised it was removed from Steam.)
