Gameplay

From a gameplay perspective the Anti-personnel and Anti-tank mines are very similar, only difference is how effective they are and at what weight they are triggered. Additionally they also share the ability to be buried beneath the surface depending on the material, so for example if it’s earth or grass then they will be buried but if it is concrete or stone they will not.

The Hafthohlladung H3 is used by running up next to some metal surface and attaching it manually, once attached there is a short delay before it blows. The No 74 on other hand works very much like hand grenades except that it can stick to any surface that it hits, once attached it will also blow after a short delay.

A common feature for all the mines is that they can also be detonated by projectiles or by the blast of an explosion.

To limit the possibility of exploiting mines and pretty much just mining the whole map we have implemented an artificial limit of ten active mines at any one point per player, once a player plants his eleventh mine the oldest one is removed.
